When calling, make sure you are prepared with the following three pieces of identifying information about the head of household (i.e. the applicant):
- Applicant's legal name,
- Last four digits of their Social Security Number,
- Current address (if applicable - if homeless and without an address, just identify so),
If the customer service line is not able to answer your question immediately while on the phone (i.e. they don't have the answer), they will create a ZenDesk ticket for you using the email address you provide them. Please remember that DCA's HCV Team also utilizes ZenDesk and it is not the same system so you will have tickets in both DBHDD and DCA's system but they are all attached to your email.
Their goal is to respond to any tickets with answers within 48-72 hours.
